Dementia & Alzheimer's Care
A dementia diagnosis changes everything, but it does not have to mean losing independence or dignity. Our dementia-trained carers provide structured, familiar routines and gentle support that help individuals feel safe, valued, and at home.
What's Included
We maintain consistent daily routines, use memory aids, and provide gentle prompts to help manage confusion, reduce agitation, and create a calm, predictable environment.
Assistance with washing, dressing, eating, and mobility, delivered with patience and understanding of the unique challenges dementia presents.
Meaningful activities, reminiscence therapy, music, and conversation designed to stimulate cognitive function and bring comfort and joy.
Guidance, respite, and practical advice for family members who are navigating the emotional and practical demands of caring for someone with dementia.
Who Is This For
This service supports individuals diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease, vascular dementia, Lewy body dementia, frontotemporal dementia, and mixed dementia at every stage of the condition. It is equally valuable for families who need respite or simply a knowledgeable partner to share the care.
Our Approach
All our dementia carers complete specialist training in dementia awareness, communication techniques, and behaviour support, and we follow the principles of person-centred care developed by Tom Kitwood.
We understand that dementia affects everyone differently, so we take time to learn each individual's history, preferences, and triggers. Care plans are regularly reviewed and adapted as the condition progresses.
