Autism Support
Every autistic person experiences the world differently. Our carers are trained to understand sensory needs, communication preferences, and routine requirements, providing consistent support that builds trust and confidence.
What's Included
Consistent daily routines and clear communication that reduce anxiety and provide the predictability many autistic individuals find reassuring and essential.
Awareness of sensory sensitivities and practical adjustments to the home environment to minimise overstimulation and create a calm, comfortable space.
Patient support with developing social skills, understanding social cues, and using preferred communication methods, whether verbal, visual, or assisted.
Gradual, supported exposure to community activities, education, and employment opportunities, building independence at a pace that feels comfortable.
Who Is This For
This service supports autistic children, young people, and adults, including those with co-occurring conditions such as ADHD, learning disabilities, or anxiety. We work with individuals across the spectrum, tailoring our approach to each person's unique profile.
Our Approach
All carers working with autistic individuals complete specialist autism awareness training covering sensory processing, communication strategies, and positive behaviour support.
We take time to understand each person's interests, triggers, and preferences before care begins, and we involve families and professionals in creating a detailed, person-centred support plan.
